Day 1, Singapore - Beijing (D)
Assemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Beijing-capital of China. Upon arrival, proceed to visit Temple of Heaven which was used for praying to the heaven for peace and good harvest in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Next visit Tea House.
Day 2, Beijing (B/L/D)
Start the day by visiting Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world. View National Theatre from far. Then tour the Forbidden City also known as Imperial Palace, once the home of emperors. Next visit Tongrentang, a famous China traditional pharmacy with a-hundred-year history. After lunch, proceed to view the main venues of Beijing Olympic Games like Bird's Nest & Water Cube and Ling Long Pagoda.
Day 3, Beijing (B/L/D)
Today’s highlight will surely be the Great Wall of China - one of mankind's greatest engineering achievements. Next proceed to the Ming Tombs in which 13 out of 16 of the Ming Dynasty’s Emperors were buried here. Later proceed to experience foot massage for relaxation.In the evening enjoy night tour at Shimao Tianjie.
Day 4, Beijing (B/L/D)
After breakfast, tour the immaculate Summer Palace known as Imperial Garden. Then take a trishaw sightseeing tour of Hutongs to view traditional Beijing alleys & courtyards where you will learn about the culture and lifestyle of local people. South Gong and Drum Lane (Nanluogu Xiang) is an interesting hutong renowned for its long history and specialty stores. Also visit Silk Museum before proceed to Wangfujing Street for your shopping spree.
Day 5, Beijing - Singapore (B)
Today if time permits, you will have some time to do last minute shopping before transfer to the airport for your flight back to Singapore. We hope you have enjoyed your vacation with CTC Travel.
